New Participant Program Registration now open for IETF 122 Bangkok

We are happy to announce that registration is now open for the first edition of an expanded New Participant Program during the IETF 122 Bangkok meeting!

The enhanced New Participant Program aims to help participants just starting out in the IETF to be more effective. It is designed for anyone who has participated in 4 or fewer IETF meetings. The full-day program will be held on Sunday, 16 March during IETF 122 Bangkok.

Planned sessions include:

Other components of the New Participant Program, such as the popular Quick Connections session which provides opportunities to connect with other participants and IETF leadership, will also be available. The program schedule will be finalized shortly.

After registering for the IETF 122 meeting, new participants can sign up for the New Participants Program by logging in to their participant dashboard and following one of the links under “Additional Events”, choosing whether or not to include lunch. There is no additional fee for the program.

We understand that a whole day program may not suit everyone. Any registered meeting participant may attend individual sessions in-person or remotely. If you are new to the IETF, sign up for the expanded New Participant Program today to work more effectively and more quickly.
